Eyeless In Gaza

 Eyeless In Gaza

Millennia ago, the superhumanly strong Nazarite judge Samson was betrayed by Delilah, blinded by his enemies and thrown into penal servitude in Gaza. Now here we are in the future, and Gaza is still making headlines….

Hey, have you seen the latest? The nation of Egypt is using brutal force and physical barriers to keep their Arab brothers from crossing their border. Why isn’t the global media denouncing this as an egregious human rights violation bordering on genocide, just like they do whenever Israel makes a reasonable effort to defend HER borders? Just wondering. On January 24, Israel floated the idea that, since the Gaza’s border with Egypt is now open, with tens of thousands of Palestinians pouring into Egypt, Gaza should eventually become Egypt’s responsibility. Hamas flatly rejected the idea. Now why would Jew-hating Hamas prefer their territory be overseen by Jews than by their fellow Arabs? Just wondering.

At the start of January, Ehud Olmert said, “As far as I’m concerned, Gaza residents will walk, without gas for their cars, because they have a murderous terrorist regime that doesn’t let people in southern Israel live in peace.” Despite the bleeding-heart stories about Gazan suffering the world media instantly whipped up, the sentiment is quite sensible (If, say, Mexico was smashing rockets into San Diego night after night and month after month, what would you expect the American government to do about it? Would you expect them to do nothing?) Hamas responded with a nifty surprise tactic: they tore down large chunks of the 12 kilometre, 13 metre high wall separating Gaza and Egypt. Hey, remember all that talk from Jimmy Carter about how the wall protecting Israel from Gazans is a human rights crime worse than South African apartheid? Why doesn’t the peanut farmer ever accuse Egypt of apartheid for having a wall protecting itself from Gazans? Just wondering. Now Israel is justifiably alarmed at the possibility of terrorists and armaments easily crossing into Israel through the poorly defined border in Egyptian Sinai. What to do? I think Israel’s suggestion that Hamas was so quick to reject deserves a closer look.

In 1948 Egypt overran the British-controlled territory and ruled the region as a protectorate until 1967 when Israel reluctantly and defensively took control of it. Things took quite a turn for the worse with the Oslo Accord (1993) and the subsequent Gaza-Jericho Agreement (1994) that idiotically gave the whole territory over to a murderous maniac named Yasser Arafat. It’s been all downhill since then. Surely the time has come to declare Gazan self-rule a failure. Why not revert to the 1948-1967 situation with Egypt taking control of Gaza? It seems like a good fit: Gazans have stronger family and economic ties to Egypt than the West Bank, and their colloquial Arabic is identical to that of Sinai Egyptians. Since 1948 America has blessed Egypt with over 65 billion dollars and continues to give them 1.8 billion dollars a year in ‘aid.’ Maybe it’s time the longsuffering American taxpayers pressured Honsi Mubarak for a little return on their massive Egyptian investment.

    Dear Darrell:

Nice piece. Apparently Hamas had been digging at the wall for months. The other wall that no activist ever complains about! Cos it ain’t protecting Jews, eh?

Most people don’t realise that NO Arab country allows any Palestinians to settle permanently with any rights of citizenship at all, no matter how long or if they are evn born there. Only one country allows over 150,000 Palestinians to do this: Israel.

Their own people parasite off them as a resource for militants, propaganda and various Gaza Mafia rackets etc. A disgrace. Not a peep from auto Israel bashers in the West about Arafat the pig and Super embezzler right up to any freak militant groups feifdom’s.

The MSM are truly the enemy of Isreal and global anti-semites really, when it comes down to it.

Amazing that such a fake and fraudulent picture can hold up and be believed after all these years. Thanks MSM!

All the best Daz, Colonel Neville.

Here’s some more info on just how ‘oppressed’ and ‘poor’ the Gaza folk swarming into Egypt are:

You are all wet when it comes to gaza and the Jews. The Egyptians did the best thing in allowing the Palestinians free entry into Egypt to buy consumer goods and food so that they do not starve to death. It is up to the Israelis to give up the rest of the land to the Palestinians at least to avoid additional bloodshed and hunger. No one ever said that the Arab world is unified, but at least they do not discriminate the way the Israelis have done. Time is on the side of the Palestinians.

Hussein, did you ever consider that the evil Zionists would not be ‘besieging’ Gaza if Hamas didn’t keep lauching rockets from there?

    Case in point:

If, say, Mexico was smashing rockets into San Diego night after night and month after month, what would you expect the American government to do about it? Would you expect them to do nothing?)
